- Rory McIlroy won the U.S. Open on Sunday, beating Tiger Woods' US Open tournament scoring record by four strokes. Thank God. I can get behind this guy. (Dear Tiger, Professional golf will be just fine without you.)
Things I didn't like:
- Cardinals first baseman, Albert Pujols, colided at first base with Wilson Betemit (a player from Kansas City - maybe this will be what he's best known for?), which resulted in him breaking his non-throwing arm. He will be out 4-6 weeks.
Things I was indifferent about:
- The Boston Bruins beat the Vancouver Canucks in game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals to become this year's NHL champions. This, of course, resulted in a riot.
The riot resulted in this picture of a girl who was injured (by Rich Lam) that has since been made very famous. What timing!
Other than that - there's really not that much going on right now.
